Dr. Jeffrey H. Ludlow was born in Utah but came to Texas as quickly as he could! He graduated from Plano East High School before attending Texas A&M University. He continued his education at Baylor College of Dentistry, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Dr. Ludlow started Anna Dental in 2005 and has loved getting to know the town and the patients of this area. Dr. Ludlow enjoys all aspects of dentistry. He believes a general dental office should take care of all its patients’ needs. He has advanced training in dental implants, having been trained both in the United States and internationally. He has obtained fellowship status in the International Dental Implant Association. Dr. Ludlow is passionate about advancing the dental industry and making it easier for patients to have great dental care. He has been involved in innovative office procedures and financial programs to bring the best dentistry to Anna, TX.

Dr. Ludlow feels fortunate to have a beautiful wife and four children. He enjoys spending time with his family and being involved in his children’s activities. His hobbies include playing basketball and baseball, reading, and spending time at the lake.

Dr. Ryan Burr Sharp was born in Utah and raised in New Mexico. He attended Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah where he received his degree in both Biology and Spanish. Dr. Sharp was able to spend two years serving in Guatemala as a missionary for his church during his time at BYU. This experience gave Dr. Sharp the added benefit of being fluent in the Spanish language. He then attended Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas and fell in love with Texas and all it has to offer.

Dr. Sharp loves everything about dentistry and truly wants his patients to feel better and be happy. He understands how important it is to really listen to his patients and create a plan that fits each patient individually. Dr. Sharp also understands the convenience and importance of treating families and welcomes patients of all ages.

Dr. Sharp has been happily married to his wife for 18 years. They feel extremely blessed to have two healthy and handsome young boys and an energetic and loving little girl. He enjoys being outdoors, playing sports, and spending as much time with his family as possible. Dr. Sharp is also proud to be a Veteran of the Texas Army National Guard, where he served in a dental role ensuring our soldiers receive the best dental care.

Dr. Rachel Anderson was born and raised in Missouri. She attended Southern Illinois University in Edwardsville, IL where she earned both her Bachelor’s degree in Biology and Doctorate of Dental Medicine. Dr. Anderson practiced in rural Wisconsin before deciding to move closer to friends and family in Texas.

Dr. Anderson is grateful to have joined the Anna Dental team where patient comfort and quality care are the top priorities. She embraces the opportunity to provide personable care for her patients and build long-lasting relationships. Dr. Anderson enjoys all aspects of dentistry and loves to educate her patients and community about dental health and preventative care.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Anderson enjoys reading, outdoor adventure sports, and spending time with family, friends, and her dog, Stanley. She enjoys volunteering and looks forward to becoming an active member in the Anna community.

Dr. Mina Sawires was born in Alexandria, Egypt, and raised in New Jersey, where he received his Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from Rutgers University with honors. He then completed his Doctorate in Dental Surgery from Howard University College of Dentistry in Washington DC. He finally saw the light when he came across Anna Dental and decided to move to Texas to be near family.

Dr. Sawires has volunteered as a dentist/consultant for global oral health education in different regions like Myanmar, Bangladesh, Everest, and aboard the USS Mercy hospital ship. He has also helped set up dental clinics for the internally displaced populations and worked in crisis response for various refugee camps in the Middle East, Europe, and West Africa.

Dr. Sawires is not only interested in treatment, but he is passionate about patient care. He feels like dentistry is the perfect channel to provide care anchored in trust, comfort, and competency. Dr. Sawires enjoys being a constant work-in-progress, he loves to smile and loves to accentuate others’ smiles. His favorite hobbies are skiing and woodworking, and is convinced that he is a late-blooming cowboy! So far, he likes everything Texas, except for the Dallas Cowboys- that is proving to be a sore subject for a NY Giants fan.

Dr. Kyle Young was born and raised in Northern California, but he had always wanted to live in Texas growing up! He attended college at the University of the Pacific, where he earned his Bachelors of Science as well as his Masters of Science in Biology. He continued his education and received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the University of Maryland, Baltimore. He then moved his family to Dallas, where he completed his residency for an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD).

Dr. Young is a lifelong learner and regularly attends continuing education courses. Dr. Young is passionate about the prevention of cavities, dental implants, esthetic dentistry, and patient education. His goal is to provide his patients with a comfortable dental experience while providing the best esthetic outcome.

In his spare time, Dr. Young enjoys spending time outdoors with his family. He grew up in the Boy Scouts and achieved the rank of Eagle Scout in 2008. He enjoys camping, fishing, hunting, and playing sports. His favorite sports include football and rugby.
